Diploma in Manufacturing Management
The Level 4 Diploma in Manufacturing Management is a 120 credit size qualification(UK), equivalent in size and level to the first year of a bachelor’s degree and is part of a flexible suite of administrative management qualifications.
These qualifications provide manufacturing management skills for those planning to or working in a management role. This course delivers the skills and knowledge that meet the needs of managers on a domestic and international platform.
The qualification provides learners with an introduction to the business environment as well as key academic, research and communication skills to support learners in their development; they will also gain an understanding of business organizations in terms of types and structures. As the learner progresses onto the second year of study they will develop their understanding of management and develop key manufacturing management skills.
Upon completion of this program students will receive a Diploma in Manufacturing Management from the Institute of Management Specialists and also an ATHE (Awards for Training in Higher Education) Level 4 Extended Diploma of Management fully regulated by OFQUAL.
Graduate Pathways
Students wishing to continue their studies can enroll directly into the final year of the Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management program or directly into the second year of the Bachelor of Business Administration.
Graduates from this program will be eligible to continue their studies, by entering directly into the final two years of study at a range of UK Universities, Business Management Bachelor programs.
At Present the ATHE has specific agreements with the following UK universities:

- Northampton University
- Coventry University
- Cardiff Metropolitan University
- Bolton University
- University of Bedfordshire
As these qualifications are OFQUAL approved, UK universities will generally accept the credits awarded to students.
